NOISE LINGUISTIX

Following the success of their debut album Scattered Vibrations (2021 Optomusic) and fruitful collaborations with musicians such as Steve Hamilton, Hristo Yotsov, and Rossen Zahariev, for their second album Tissue of Trust, the two aspiring musicians teamed up with one of the most creative figures on the European music stage, the Slovenian drummer, cellist, composer, and filmmaker Kristijan Krajnčan, also known as Drumming Cellist. Kristijan has performed at the most important venues and festivals around the world, has won numerous awards for music in Europe, and reached the semifinals stage of the prestigious Thelonious Monk drumming competition in Washington D.C. (USA) in 2012. The unique voice Kristijan gleans from any instrument he lays his hands on brings a whole new dimension to the sound produced by the duo. Lyrical, melodic, explosive, and free are just a few simple words to describe this exciting collaboration.
For the concert at the Dr. Emil Iliev International Jazz Festival in Borovets, Bulgaria, the trio will be joined by extraordinary pianist Steve Hamilton. His 30-year long career is crowned with performances alongside legends such as Freddie Hubbard, Pee Wee Ellis, Billy Cobham, and Gary Burton, to name a few.
